The Government has just announced £45 million funding to train 900 new children's Social Workers across the country, including over 40 vacancies in the South West - the first time they have offered the placements in the region.
The Social Work charity, Frontline, has already trained over 1000 social workers since it began its work in 2013.
We need more social workers to work with vulnerable children and young people and the programme offered by Frontline provides the perfect vehicle for anyone considering a career change to get into the profession. Each position on their training programme attracts a bursary of almost £20,000.
